                <text>Advances in information, communication, technology (ICT) particularly the internet is driving universities worldwide into integrating technology into teaching and learning in the classrooms. Ready access to multimedia learning platforms are encouraging faculty members to move away from traditional print-based and face-to-face teaching approach into adopting blended learning. However, insufficient learner satisfaction has been noted as an obstacle in most universities. In view of this, this paper assesses the learning experience of students within a blended learning environment in a Higher Education Institution (HEIs) in Ghana Technology University College (GTUC). The driving force for this study is to enhance students’ learning experience with the use of technology within a blended learning environment. The Learning Management System (LMS) adapted to engage students within the blended learning environment is Moodle. The study employed both qualitative and quantitative methods to measure the students’ learning experience. A total of 244 respondents from three different faculties and levels offering bachelors and master’s degree were used. The study employed simple descriptive analysis and thematic analysis to measure the student's learning experience within the blended learning environment. The impression from the findings indicates that the online learning engagements enhanced the face-to-face teaching and learning and also increased retention and performance among the students. Using annual time-series data from 1976 to 2020, we estimate the long-term impact of human capital development on nonrenewable energy consumption in Ghana.                 <text>The higher education landscape is changing. The global competition for students’ enrolments has increased around the world. Universities are competing within their home market as well as in the international market. As government funding for public universities is reducing, there is pressure on universities to seek additional income by increasing their student enrolment. Attracting and enrolling students has become increasingly more challenging, as student behaviour is changing. These challenges present the need for higher education institutions to be more strategic in their approach to reaching out to prospective students. This concluding chapter on strategic marketing of higher education in Africa presents practical implications and critical insights into strategic marketing and brand communications of higher education institutions in Africa. Agenda for future research were also provided.                 <text>The rate at which Ghana’s domestic debt is increasing has raised concerns among economists and policymakers, due to the former’s potential effect on private sector growth, economic growth rate and debt sustainability. The objective of this study is to examine Ghana’s domestic debt, its sustainability on economic growth rate and the causal relationship between debt and growth. Using data from the World Bank and the Ministry of Finance for the period between 1994 and 2018, we estimate an ARDL Model to examine the effect of domestic debt on economic growth and private sector investment. We adopt the cointegration and fully modified regression to examine domestic debt sustainability. The study used the exponential generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity (EGARCH) model, by using daily time series data from 2 January 2015 to 13 October 2020.
