Human factor analysis models seek to identify latent conditions within the system that influence the operator’s action to trigger an accident. For an effective application of human factor analysis models, a domain-specific model is recommended. Most existing models are developed with category/subcategory peculiar to a particular domain. This presents challenges and hinders effective application outside the domain developed for. This paper sought to propose a human factor analysis framework for Ghana’s mining industry. A comparative study was carried out between three dominated accident causation models and investigation methods in literature; AcciMap, HFACS, and STAMP. The comparative assessment showed that HFACS is suitable for incident data analysis based on the following reason; ease of learning and use, suitability for multiple incident analysis and statistical quantification of trends and patterns, and high inter and intra-coder reliability. A thorough study was done on HFACS and its derivative. Based on recommendations and research findings on HFACS from literature, Human Factor Analysis, and Classification System–Ghana Mining Industry (HFACS-GMI) was proposed. It places the importance of HRDC in enhancing EE within the public sector in a developing country and finds answer to the question on the dimension of HRDC that causes employees to be engaged. The paper uses a self-designed questionnaire, made up of Rao and Abraham (1990) HRD Climate survey and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale by Schaufeli et al., (2002) to gather data from 355 respondents and analysed using multiple regression. Based on the data analysed, results showed that HRDC has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. Additionally, it was found that employees are highly engaged in situations where their organisation exhibits the HR Mechanism dimension of HRDC. The limitation is, it did not focus on the entire public sector but focused on civil servant. It is therefore recommended that further studies could be carried out with focus on other public sector organisations to confirm or refute the findings. This study adds to the limited literature on HRDC and EE in public sector organisations in a developing country. This finding brings to bear the major dimension of HRDC that managers should focus on to improve employee engagement in a developing country where there exist a high power distance culture. Electronic payment system offers customers the convenience and flexibility to digitally pay online. Our study extended the technology readiness index and evaluated its influence on the technology acceptance model to predict user acceptance and use of e-payment technology. An online version of a questionnaire was administered to the population aged 1500 users of e-banking and mobile money users in six cities in Ghana (Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Cape Coast, Sekondi-Takoradi and Tamale) on the social media. A printed version of the questionnaire was self administered to other respondents largely, users of mobile transfer services in Ghana who did not have access to reliable internet services or computer. The post-data integrity results was analysed using a robust version of feed forward Radial basis function neural network. We observed a non-inflated overall incorrect prediction score between below 25% in both cases. It decomposed into a positive and significant relationship between personal innovativeness, personal optimism, high perceived convenience and perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use which positively influences epayment adoption. This is a qualitative study that analysed the difficulties that level 100 Francophone students who have French as a Second Language(L2) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in a Ghanaian university face in identifying English determiners. The data used for the analysis comprised students’ written exercise. The theoretical framework on which this research is based is article-focused theory which is discourse rule transfer propounded by Robertson (2000) as well as the semantic model developed by Huebner (1983), known as the "semantic wheel for noun phrase reference". Pre determiners, central determiners and post determiners were found in the data analysed. Central determiners recorded the highest number of 25 representing 64%, followed by pre determiners with 11 representing 28% and post determiners showing 3 determiners denoting 8%.
