                <text>In this paper, we assessed volatility of Ghana’s inflation rates for 2000 to 2018 using the auto-regressive conditionally heteroskedasticity (ARCH), generalized ARCH (GARCH), and the exponential GARCH (EGARCH) models. The inflation data were obtained from the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS). The proposed model should be able to provide projections of inflation volatility from 2019 and beyond. The results showed that higher order models are required to properly explain Ghana’s inflation volatility and the EGARCH(12, 1) is the best fitting model for the data. The EGARCH(12, 1) model is robust to model and forecast volatility of inflation rates. Also, the results suggest that we are forecasting increasing volatility and there is increasing trend in general prices of goods and services for 2018 and beyond. The forecasts figures revealed that Ghana’s economy is likely to be unstable in 2018 and 2019. This study therefore recommends that policy makers and industry players need to put in place stringent monetary and fiscal policies that would put the anticipated increase in inflation under control.                 <text>Sustainable agricultural growth has become an area of interest for many researchers in the quest to increase food production in the midst of an escalating population. However, the evidence remains largely scanty, isolated and devoid of an in-depth analysis of how some economic policies promote agribusiness development in mainland China. Using time series data from 1990 to 2013, this paper adopts semi-parametric quantile regression to study the complex relationship between institutional policies in rural areas and agribusiness development. The study revealed the role of family household in promoting agribusiness development at the higher quantiles of the distribution. Moreover, government investment in rural health and education contributed significantly across the quantile distribution. The impact of research and development on agribusiness development is positively significant across the quantile points of the distribution within the study period. The result from the quantile graph clearly shows the disparities between OLS and quantile regression coefficients.</text>

                <text>To develop an effective control mechanism for any industrial process it is imperative to have a deep and wide ranging understanding of the process itself. This is especially true in the case of a cement grinding circuits, which is a very complex process with very complex dynamics and multivariable environment, where all the elements are interconnected. This article is aimed at providing an in-depth analysis of the cement production process in Ghana, which is mainly limited to grinding clinker into cement and its packaging and distributing. The main equipment of grinding circuits is described and the best configurations are discussed.                 <text>This article develops a model of a closed shredding scheme in a ball mill with a separator with high efficiency at a cement plant. Various existing approaches to the development of such models are investigated and a new one is proposed. Based on the principle of material balance and stochastic representation of particle motion in the grinding system and using grinding and classification matrices, the Markov chain model is presented for a scheme consisting of a ball mill and a separator with high efficiency. The grinding matrix is calculated using the selection and crushing functions, and the classification matrix is determined by the Tromp separator curve. The results of field experiments conducted at an experienced cement plant are used to determine model parameters. Retrospective technological data related to the operation of a pilot grinding scheme,applied to check the model and determine the limiting process conditions. Using numerical simulation, the relationships between the controlled (loading of raw materials; separator cut-off size) and the observed (cement size characteristics; productivity; specific energy consumption) parameters of the circuit are determined.</text>

                <text>This article has developed a regularized predictive control based on the l2-norm of the impulse characteristic of the final duration (KIX) with entry restrictions and input speed for the model of a closed grinding scheme in a ball mill with a separator with high efficiency at a cement plant.
